Explorers Data Disk
Creating
a data disk:
¨ Take a disk and find the middle and place a dot there.
¨ Draw a line from one side to the other side of the disk through the middle dot, do this three times.
¨ On the second disk cut one “wedge” out to create a window that will show the information from the back disk.
¨ On the back of this disk write “My Explorer Data Disk of (name of explorer).
Written by (your name and Science Number).”
Each section should include one of the following:
ü Map of the voyage
ü Picture of the explorer
ü Brief description of what was founded
ü Personal information (born, died, married, etc.)
ü Interesting information
ü Flag of the country sponsoring the voyage
