Procedure

1) Open News 11 in MSWorks and fix the errors in your news rough draft.

2) Open stockportfolio.html and stockportfolio2.html in Netscape. Finish up the stocks worksheet in complete sentences.

3) Open MSWorks and update the stock prices in stockspreadsheet.wks.

4) Open Start up the Netscape program an open up the site http://www.tessellations.org/ Read it over to answer the questions on the tessellation worksheet.

5) Next open up http://www.tessellations.org/diy-basic1.htm

and read the through the next eight pages. Make sure to click the next arrow to go on to the next eight pages. These pages will help you understand today’s assignment.

6) Next open up http://www.tessellations.org/linemethod-ex1-1.htm

and read the through the next couple pages. Make sure to click the next arrow to go on to the next pages. Every method has two examples of which you can use. Then use these methods to create the four tessellations below. You can cut out a pattern of paper to trace if you think it will help you complete the tessellations.

7) Next open up http://www.tessellations.org/eschergallery1thumbs.htm

http://www.tessellations.org/guestgallery1thumbs.htm

Then draw these examples of tessellations to the back of your sheet. You can cut out a pattern of paper to trace if you think it will help you complete the tessellations. Neatness and completeness count so do your best. You can color them in if you have time.
